36 weeks and one day
It officially HURTS to do anything that has to do with bending over! including putting pants on! She has dropped so much in the last couple days that I feel like I'm going to smoosh her if I lean too far forward!!
We've also talked about which vehicle we should take to the hospital. You don't realize how low a Honda Accord sits until you're pregnant and try to get in and out of it!! The Saturn is even lower than the Accord, so I'm not getting in that thing again for a while. Now the truck on the other hand, I have to LEAN into it, PULL myself up and then do kind of like a half roll type thing to just to get my butt onto the seat. For a while there, this was the easiest vehicle to get in and out of. I think we should keep a step stool in it now. The Bug isn't even an option - it's in the garage getting some body work done and even if Chad was driving it, Brynn would either end up having a concussion or coming out on the way to the hospital because you can feel EVERYTHING when you ride in it. So, we're either taking the Accord or the truck... with a brand new Rubbermaid step stool as an accessory. ;o) My vote goes for the truck!!

Another exciting weekend!!
Jody (my Mother-In-Law) drove in on Friday night and will be splitting her time in AZ between us and Chad's grandparents for the week!!
Chad and I took a birthing class on Friday night and yesterday morning. We learned that Chad has to keep me calm, because I'm pretty sure I'm going to be freaking out... especially because of some of the things that we learned in the class. I'm not going to go through what we talked about but I really think I'm more scared now than I was before. We learned a few breathing techniques, so hopefully those will help out.
Yesterday after the class, we met Lindy and Jody at the 4-D ultrasound place for lucky # 3. She was still being stubborn and had her arm in front of her face but we were able to see more this weekend than what we were before!!
Today, we officially have ONE MONTH until Brynn's due date!! She's not moving around quite as much as what she was before but she doesn't have a whole lot of room in there!! Our doctor's appointments are now every week... from what they told us last week, we're measuring right at 35 weeks so we're on schedule!!
I posted some pictures from this weekend on the Yahoo site (in the June 2007 folder)... here's a link if you want to check them out!!

Less than 6 weeks to go and so much going on!!
I can't bend over easily anymore so just little things like giving the dogs food and water or tying my shoes or sitting down on the floor are pretty much impossible right now.
I'm getting... HUGE. And... uncomfortable. And... ready to meet her.
I think Brynn's doing good though, she seems to move around a lot. I think she's going to have my butt. It seems to stick out quite a bit when she moves it and you can see it move from one side of my belly to the other. Chad doesn't have much of one, so yep, she got it from me. I can feel her stretch too, which is weird... she'll move her butt and then I can feel her legs moving around in a different part of my belly.
Chad seems to be coping pretty well with my complaining and my stress levels lately... I don't know how he does it. Oh well, he doesn't have to go through all of the stuff that I'm going through right now so... yep, he's doing ok.
This weekend is Chad's last weekend of school!! Can you believe that?! He takes his tests this weekend... so keep him in your thoughts!! ;o) So, if any of you who are reading this know of a company that is hiring and paying their drivers well... feel free to let us know!!
Next week/weekend should be crazy... my Aunt Lindy that was just in my last post has an interview with Pima County next week, so hopefully she'll get that job and then she'll move from Colorado to Tucson. That would be cool. So, cross your fingers for her too.
AND, I think Chad's mom is coming into town that weekend, because she'll be out of school and we have our THIRD 4-D ultrasound scheduled for the 23rd. Third time's a charm, right? We hope so!!

Luau/baby shower weekend!!
Mom, Lindy, Chad and I ended up at Rock Bottom for dinner (YUM!) and then headed to Babies-R-Us to pick up the carseat/stroller combo that my mom and dad got for Brynn!! YAY!! (Thanks guys!)
Yesterday was just crazy. Mom, Lindy and I did some running around and then somehow Lindy talked mom into giving her a haircut. Then we went to TJ and Jenn's house to help get things for the Luau/baby shower that they had for us!! We helped cut up a bunch of veggies...
Here is one of Mom and Ann in the kitchen
Jody and Ana (Chad's mom and sister) drove in late Friday night and then met us at TJ and Jenn's on Saturday. Jody and Mike got us the bedding set to pretty much complete Brynn's room... and Ana made a really cool sign that has a part of the ladybug border in it (YAY!! Thank you!!). Here are a few pictures (I'll put a real crib picture up when we get everything put together... make sure that you note that the chair is not included!!).
Here's a link to where you can see a whole album of pictures from last night. http://new.photos.yahoo.com/chadamandawest/album/576460762403573605, keep checking back in here, I will keep adding as people send them to me and as Chad and I take more. I didn't get any good belly pictures, so I'll try and have Chad take one later on this week. We also didn't get any good ones of he and I together, so if you have one, please send it to me!! (acslax8520@aol.com)
We owe a HUGE thank you to TJ and Jenn for throwing the luau/shower and for being such great friends - thank you to Ann, Matt, and the rest of our AZ family for helping Jenn put all of this together!! We love you guys!!
Thanks to everyone else who was able to make it too, we hope you had a fun time and thanks for being a part of such a special event in our lives!!
This morning, we got up with Chad at 5am (he had to go to school) and Lindy and I took mom to the airport. After that, she and I met Jody, Ana, G-Ma and G-Pa for breakfast and then Jody and Ana made the long drive back to California. Not too long after that, I had to take a nap, I was exhausted. I don't know how Chad is doing this getting up at 5am everyday during the week and on weekends... one day of it wore me out. Love you babe!!
