Reason for the title?

* I love Grey's Anatomy. (Just watched it tonight, recorded it last night.) So cool that badass soldier guy took care of Christina.

* It's Friday.

* The weather is cooling down, which is good because I am really hating the summers here without a pool.

* We're going to hang out with Jenn & her family this weekend.

* The Bug is almost finished.

* Reminder... it's Friday.

* Chad's getting up with Brynn tomorrow to let me sleep in a little. What a keeper.

* UPDATE... he WAS a keeper. He just put my clean clothes on the floor because he wanted to go to bed and I was just finishing that last *. Now he just thinks he's the funniest person in the world, he's cracking up to himself right now. ;o)

*** UPDATE # 2 *** he just put my clothes back up on my side of the bed.

*** EDIT *** Chad just pointed out the reason that he put them on the floor was because there are two laundry baskets with clean clothes in them already and there isn't room to put more in them (Um, I'm sure there is...).

I hate doing laundry (or any other sort of cleaning) - can you tell?

Ok, I'll go fold some clothes...

*** UPDATE # 3 *** This morning (Saturday), I woke up at 9:00. Chad and Brynn both woke up at 9:30. Did you read that? BRYNN WOKE UP AT 9:30!!! WOW!!!

If this is any indication of how my week is going... Bits and pieces of my sunglasses that Chad found when he got home today. Allie and Mel have been up to no good.



On a good note, we took our van in to get it looked at because our check engine light was on and we ended up getting it fixed for free! There were some problems with the transmission and it ended up being covered under a recall. We got a new one with a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty at no charge. Whew. I love Honda.

I need a vacation.

Just in case you haven't noticed, I'm trying to put a label on each post to make it easier to search for past posts.

So, at the bottom of each post, I'll label it "Pictures" or "Fun Visit", or whatever pertains to that post. If you click on "Pictures", it will bring up any posts that I have labeled as "Pictures". I'm hoping to put a list of each of the labels somewhere on the blog when I'm completely done!!

This is my 243rd post(!). I still have about 200 to label. It's taking me a long time to do it but it's actually been kind of fun to go through my old posts to read what I was thinking a year ago.

I went to Jenn's house tonight for my first game of Pokeeno. We had a lot of fun and there were some really cool ladies there. Somehow we got on the subject of blogging and I brought up my Castor/Castrol Oil blog from last June or July (I don't know how to add that link in here?). I'm hoping to add links to Jenn and Christine's blogs (and Martha if she starts one?) to my sidebar... once they get them up and running!! (Ahem, hopefully soon!!) ;o)

No, I'm not pregnant!!

Sorry for the lack of posts, I think I've had that stomach flu that's been going around. I've had it since last weekend and just today, it's starting to get better. Went to the dr on Friday and she said that she didn't want to give me anything yet, she wanted me to go on a clear liquid diet for 2-3 days and then reintroduce bananas and apples and those sorts of things. I had pretty much been living on water, Sprite and saltines anyway.

Chad's been a trooper... I hadn't been able to do a whole lot with Brynn until yesterday. Standing up would even make my stomach upset. Knock on wood, I'm getting better. We're heading to California to see Chad's family on Thursday night and I really don't want to have to deal with this for the drive there!!

Anyone who reads this and has kids around Brynn's age, what kind do you have and do you like it? I've read over a million reviews and I am burnt out. Brynn's ready for a new carseat and we're in the market for a new one. SOON.

Seven random facts

I have been Tagged!! Becki tagged me on her blog (Click on the Sweet Daisy link to the left of this post) and I think Heidi may have a long time ago too (?)... so here we go!!

I don't have seven people to tag on my page, so I won't tag anyone, you can just read my random facts!!

1. I didn't realize how much I love being a Wife and Mommy. Thank goodness I signed up for match.com!

2. When I was a kid, I used to rollerskate competitively. My mom used to pick Bri and I up from school and drive to practice almost every day. Apparently I haven't told as many people as I thought I did about this huge part of my life because TJ and Jenn didn't even realize it until a few weeks ago!! I even came in 4th place at Nationals one year!! To see some embarrasing pictures from my skating days, just click on the link to Cassie's blog and go to her January link. (I'm horrible at linking things on the blog!)

3. I played lacrosse when I was in junior high and high school.

4. I am addicted to reality tv shows. We originally heard Brynn's name on the Real World Las Vegas. If we had a boy, we liked the name Evan. That came from the Real World/Road Rules Challenges. Brynn's name is also a combination of my sister's first and middle names... Brianna Lynn. Her middle name is a combination of my Grandma (Opal Mae) and Chad's Grandma (Ida May)... so we spelled it Maye!!

5. I came to the conclusion that I am always stressed. Everything stresses me out. I think the only way to resolve my issue is to win the lottery. I keep playing but not winning. Maybe my luck will change soon.

6. I really do love that we have the Bug. It's a fun car and I'm amazed at how well Chad has restored it, he's done a great job!! Everything on it has been super easy for him to work on or restore and he's had a lot of fun doing it. We've also met some really great people because of it.

7. I love Arizona but I wish my family was closer. A four hour plane ride or a thirty eight hour drive is too far away.

Auntie Bri is flying in tonight at 10:30! Wait, what? 10:30PM ON A THURSDAY NIGHT! The first thing she wants to do when she gets here? Buy beer.
