Thoughts And Prayers For Us Please

This afternoon Chad took Brynn to the eye doctor, as another follow up from her surgery back in April. We've noticed a lot lately when she is tired, her eyes wander. One will be looking straight at you and the other will look up or down. Sometimes they'll cross. We tell her to "fix" her eyes, she'll blink, and for the most part, they'll go back to being straight.

Today, Brynn was pretty sleepy when Chad took her to the appointment, so the doctor got to see first hand what we had been observing since the surgery. He seemed concerned and wants to see her again in six weeks. He said that this is a similar problem to what she had before. Remember, we were pretty sure she was going to end up needing another surgery eventually, so we're a little prepared if we have to do another one. We'll find out more on November 19th.

I also found out today that my grandma, Mimi, is going to have a heart cath done on Tuesday. From what my mom has said, Mimi has been having a lot of heartburn lately and just hasn't been feeling well. She's also had a lot of kidney issues, so that doctor will be in on the surgery too. I know it was my decision to move to Arizona but it's the very few times like this when I just want to be back there. So Mim, be strong and confident... everything will be ok. WE LOVE YOU!!

Mom, Dad and Bri... be there for me.

So, please, keep us in your thoughts and prayers for a while.

Word Of The Day

Ornery or AWNRY?

ORNERY. I think AWNRY is a west-coast thing. The first time I heard it, I didn't know what the person was talking about.

Tagged!!

I haven't done one of these for a while...

I was tagged by Becki! It seems like we've got a lot in common, I left some of the answers the same as hers!!!

Favorite person (outside of family)? Hmm... hard to choose!!!

Favorite food? Pizza!!

Quirks about you? I can't leave the house without a shower!!

Any regrets in life? Nope

Favorite Charity/Cause? I have about four of them right now... I've blogged about two of them before and the other two will each get their own post, probably this weekend.

Favorite Blog recently? All of them that are on my sidebar... so keep posting!!

Something you can’t get enough of? My hubby!!

Worst job you’ve ever had? I was a temp for a mortgage company once, for three days. BORING!!

What job would you pay NOT to have? Waiting tables

If you could be a fly on the wall, where? That would change from day to day. Someplace without fly swatters. Or at least without someone who used a fly swatter well... (Ha ha ha... that was Becki's, I had to borrow it!!)

Guilty Pleasure? MTV

Got any confessions? Nope!!

If you HAD to spend $1,000 on YOURSELF, how would you spend it? A camera and accessories... but I think I'd need about $2,000.

Favorite thing about your house? The 3 car garage. I can park in it, Chad has his workshop area, the Bug, the van and a whole bunch of crap fits in there.

Least favorite thing about your house? Having a teeny tiny shower in the master bathroom.

One thing you are bad at? Housework

One thing you’re good at? Venting

If you could change something about your circumstances, what? We would win the lottery.

Who would you like to meet someday? Living or dead? Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs. He cracks me up. Oh and House. When I meet House, he has to use the voice that he uses on the show because normally he has a Brittish accent or something like that. OH and Michael (Wentworth Miller, what kind of name is that?!) from Prison Break. He's hot!!

What makes you feel sexy? Confidence

Who is your real life hero? Jenn. I don't know how she packs so much into her days!!!

What is the hardest part of your job? Being the middle-person.

When are you most relaxed? Friday nights, we usually go out for dinner and hang out.

What stresses you out? Money

What can you not live without? Chad and Brynn

Do you agree or disagree with the recent article that reported that blogs are authored by narcissists? Haven't read the article.

Why do you blog? Why not? It keeps me in touch with people that I haven't seen in a long time and it's a good way to keep track of our memories.

I changed the rules of this... everyone who is on my sidebar (um, who knows they are on my sidebar) has been tagged. Your turn to tell us more about you!!
