Arizona Cardinals play the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2009 Superbowl!!
Hmmm... I was just thinking... Why are we called the Arizona Cardinals instead of the Glendale Cardinals? Or why are they called the Pittsburgh Steelers instead of the Pennsylvania Steelers?

ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I will root for almost any team over Pittsburg or Baltimore (whoever wins tonight's game). So, I also say Cardinals!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Rachel- all I care about is that Pittsburgh (or Baltimore, had they won) loses. Go Cards!! And I think the name of the team depends on whose private and tax dollars support it. But I don't know in what way.
